Celebrating our nation's birthday and the freedom we enjoy today. We honor our nation's fallen soldiers, who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. May we NEVER forget their sacrifice!

This was my 1st time to celebrate 4th of July by attending a small town parade. It was incredibly moving to feel the American pride of the people as we all lined up along Main St. and waited for the parade to begin.

We hung out with good friends (the Tigges girls). The Tigges family has been a blessing from the moment we set foot in Virginia. I am always very grateful for the help these girls cheerfully offer. :)

The boys chillin' before the big parade ;)

The girls didn't find the LOUD sirens so great. :)

But all the candy thrown at them from the passing vehicles/floats made it all worth while.

Waiting for the next round of candy...
