"It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas..."

It IS beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, thanks to the very chilly weather and SNOW! Yes! Snow! Mya and Audrey saw snow for the first time this past Tuesday. Marty, a sweet friend from church, graciously welcomed us all into her home for playgroup. We were warm and cozy inside the house chatting as the kids played about the house, when we realized it was snowing outside. It wasn't long before some of us went outside to enjoy the first snow of the season. It was obvious who amongst the ladies was fresh from Texas - haha... I was about as excited as the kiddos!! Megan, Marty's daughter, has been a sweet friend to Mya. We are so grateful for her friendship.
Eating their snacks while waiting for more snow to fall.

So, the other girls told me it was "dry" snow - whatever that meant.

Dry, wet, large, small... it was SNOW!! Since I left my camera at home, Marty took the pictures and I think my childlike excitement humored her. =) Thanks Marty!!

I was actually freezing in my thin sweater, but I couldn't resist enjoying the snow!

We had so much fun playing in the snow flakes- haha... Marty and I were laughing when we saw the kids drag out the sled. I suppose it won't be long before we can go sledding. Everyone keeps telling me we are expected to have an extremely cold winter -burrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
